CROSS COUNTRY MEET SUMMARIES

A day on the Cross Country fields in Michigan like this one embodies every good and meaningful element of the sport. It is the spirit and the sweat and the joy that come only with dedication, hard work and commitment to personal and team goals. This serves to underscore the glory of accomplishment not just for the top guns but also for the entire team comprised of 122 wonderful young women. Families, friends and alumni flocked to the respective courses to cheer wildly with words of encouragement. They were privileged to witness the fulfillment of so many goals and still realize there is untapped potential yet to be revealed in future events.

 

It was fun. It was fast. It was great weather. It was exciting. The team stepped up to the challenge and brought excellence to every mile. This is XC at its best.
