Saline Cross Country women were provided with an opportunity to test the footing on a familiar course at a new point in the season. Varsity “A” ran a separate work out while the next tier of athletes stepped up and claimed 7 medals. Also featured were 5 runners in the top 12 finishers and a nice team “packing” effort was demonstrated with a mere 7 seconds between the first 5 runners. A nice opportunity to test race readiness at a nice event organized by Ypsilanti CC Coach, Tom Micallef was the experience enjoyed by Saline CC.
