Alex Leptich said that she just “felt like really racing” at this Meet and she, along with the Varsity “A” packed together and forged ahead to VICTORY!!! Such an impressive win for our Hornets for the second consecutive year. Five Saline runners were in the top 17 and all 7 won individual medals. Saline “knocked Rockford’s socks off” with a stellar score of 52 to 77 followed by Clarkston with 81. It is early in the season and what we see bodes well for GREAT things to come. A combination of strength and speed all from months of dedication and hard work. The girls look terrific and are so happy. Very apparent that COMMITMENT is paying off. The times are sensational…Leptich, came in 2nd in 18:59; Carter claimed the 7th spot with a 19:39 posting; Creutz was 12th overall in 19:50. All other times are posted in the race results below.
Keep the smiles in your miles and HAVE FUN while you continue to build an amazing and successful CC experience.
