Saline's Middle School Cross Country Camp is a great opportunity for athletes to learn about the sport and to begin preparing for the fall season. For 2009, the camp is scheduled for July 27th thru the 31st and will take place at the Middle School Track and Mill Pond Park. Team Camp

The Saline Cross Country Team Camp is held at Warren Dunes State Park near Lake Michigan in the last weeks of July.  The camp is run by parents and students and is not officially associated with Saline Area Schools.  Camp usually costs about $125 and that fee includes transportation too and from the park. Camp is a great time to to get in to shape, make new freinds, and hang out with your old freinds. The workouts are tough, but you also have a ton of fun. Only runners who have run a minimum of 10 miles per week should plan to attend camp.

Senior Leadership Trip

Each summer, returning seniors are invited to participate in the Senior Leadership Trip, which is intended to groom incoming seniors for the responsibilities they will face as leaders on the team. The camp has taken place in Algonquin Park in Ontario, CA, on Isle Royale in Michigan, and for the past two years, it has been a "tour of the Midwest," that included visits to Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois, Wisconsin, and downtown Chicago.
