Following each race or time trial, the team recognizes two or three athletes as Outstanding Performers. These "OP's" are honored for exceptional effort, leadership, commitment, and teamwork. Sometimes, the award is given for those that possess and demonstrate "athlete skills" like ambition, resiliency, determination, aggressiveness, and patience. Following a competition, the OP's are honored in front of the team, awarded a certificate, and receive a CC or "Star" pin. Recipients are also credited a varsity point.
