Map and Directions: Forest Akers East Golf Course

-Take I-94 West to US-127.
-Take US-127 North to Trowbridge Rd. Exit.
ARGH - The Trowbridge Exit is closed!!! Try this map instead.
-Turn right (south) at first traffic light (Harrison Rd)
-Turn left (east) at third light onto Mt. Hope Rd.
-Lot 89 will be on the left side, right before you reach farm lane
- Drive time: approx. 75 minutes
Plan on arriving early! - Spectators have to take a shuttle from an adjacent lot, which can add quite a bit of time to the trip.

Awards:
Trophies to the top 3 teams in the Varsity race.
Medals Top 35 runners in varsity races and winning team members. 

Ribbons to top 20 in JV race.

Historical Notes: This will be our fourth tirp to MSU. In 2006, we surprised even ourselves and finished 5th and in 2007, we made our first trip to the awards stand.. Many Saline Alumni make the trip out for this race - Let's make them proud!

The Course...
The course is run on the Forest Akers Golf course. It is a fast course with a great chance for personal records. It is also a good spectator course as there are many spots to see the runners at various stages of the race.

Meet Notes:
- Only our top 7 runners will participate in this race.
- Saline Alum Sam Bender and Brian Hernande may be racing just before us. Also, many alum that attend MSU will be there. It's a great day for Saline CC!
-This course is on a golf course, so it will be very slow if it is wet, and very fast if it is dry!
-There is an admission fee for spectators; Adults pay $7, students pay $5 (with ID).
- MSU will be featuring an "Elite Race." Based on our state finish last year, we are invited to participate in this race. Start times for both the elite and the regualr varsity races are listed at left.
- Stay off the greens and tee boxes
