Map and Directions: Hudson Mills Park, Dexter

Grosse Ile Map
- Take I-94 west to Baker Rd. exit.
- Follow Baker Rd. North to Dexter and turn left on Main St. (Dexter-AA Rd) into Dexter
- Go past A&W on left and go under the narrow underpass. The road veers right and becomes Dexter-Pinckney Rd.
- Take Dexter Pinckney north to N. Territorial Rd.
- Turn Right on North Territorial Rd.
- Take North Territorial Rd. to Hudson Mills Park (on right)
- Once in the park make first right after toll booth.
- Drive time: about 40 minutes

Awards:
Medals: The top 12 runners receive "All Conference" medals. Finishers 13-18 receive certificates and are named "Second Team All-Conference."

Historical Notes: We've been running at this course for our league meet sinde 1996. The purpose of running this meet at the same site each year is to have something to compare to. The current SEC record is held by our own Dustin Voss with a time of 15:25. This is a goal meet of the year and a great time for PR's!

The Course...
The course is run on the grounds of Hudson Mills state park. The course has been a favorite of Hornet runners for several years. It is fast with some trails and a few rolling hills. The hardest part is the 2nd mile where you are away from the crowds and the cheers for a short while. The athlete who races the 2nd mile can gain a lot of places.

-The Reserve Race at Jamboree #3 will feature athletes from all 12 schools in the conference.
-Their will be seperate Varsity Races for the Red and White divisions.
