Map and Directions: Sharp Park, Jackson

- Take I-94 west to Jackson, Exit 138 south.
- Stay on West Ave. (also called Business 127) through town to High St.
- Turn left on High St. to 4th St.
- Turn right on 4th St. to Sharp Park. The park will be on your left.
-Driving time: about 60 minutes

Historical Notes: Saline has been running at this meet since 1984! As you can see from the top 10 times this has been a place of classic races from a host of Saline greats past and present. Over the years we have left a mark and in 1999 Saline took home the 2nd place trophy. In 2003 we topped that with our best race at Jackson EVER, taking home the individual title and the team championship!

Runners- The course is a great CC course! It is fast and flat with two slow inclines and LONG downhills (use them!). This is typically a PR course for us over the years.
Spectators- Walk straight out 500yds from the start and you will be in positiion to see the 1 and 2 miles. Walk a bit further to the left and you can see the finsih kicks...

Meet Notes:
-We used to taper for this race, but with the addition of the MSU Invite, we now train through it.
-It's easy to run fast with fresh legs; It will take a real athlete to fight fatigue and soreness to PR here.
-We'll be facing some great teams, including Warren de La Salle, both Traverse City schools, and defending state champs Pinckney, among others.
-Senior ALERT! The season is almost half way over. The last meet is four weeks from now! Don't wait to run your best race or you may run out of time.
-The reserve race is much smaller than others, so we'll look for even more Saline Domination than usual!
