Historical
Notes: Saline
has been running this time trial for 31 years! We started
out on Bethel Church Rd. just west of town and then migrated
to the Gall farm site due to increasing numbers and traffic
on the roads. In 2004 the venue was moved to the old High
School campus loop. For 2007, we'll return to the dirt roads,
back on the original course that we ran on for about 25 years! |

| The
Course... |
| The
course is on the dirt roads to the west of town. It is
a 5 mile loop in the shape of a letter "P". The start
is on Bethel Church Rd, facing west. Runners advance
to Grass Rd. and turn left. They take Grass to Waterworks
and turn right. Then they advance to Alber Rd. and turn
right again. Alber leads back to Bethel Church and there
is a roughly 2 mile straightaway to the finish. It's
a remote location with some great scenery & rolling
terrain. |

Notes:
-In
order to minimize the number of cars at the staging site (5092 Bethel
Church Rd.); Athletes that drive should plan to meet at the Middle School
Track and car pool from there. Drivers can park on Davis Ct. or in Coach
F's driveway.
-Parents can drop off their son's at the race site, but if you plan to stay and watch, please make arrangments to car pool with other parents.
-For the runners safety, we ask that spectators do not drive along the
course to cheer for the runners. Parents and friends are welcome to run
or bike the course. There will be a 1/4 mile walk from the staging area
to the start and finish area.
-Only our fittest athletes will be running in the actual trial. All athletes
not participating will complete a shorter distance.
