Awards:

Our top finisher will sign the "Hornet" jersey, which is passed down each year. Last year's winner: Andrew Harper.

Historical Notes: The time trial used to loop through the industrial park, but as the program grew and traffic increased, we were forced to move the trial to the current Campus Loop. Five of the athletes on the current Top-Ten list are competing at the collegiate level.

The Course...
The course is one and a half loops around the two-mile loop known as "Campus Loop." Runners will start at the middle school and head west towards Saline/Ann Arbor Road. The runners will then follow the sidewalks around the campus, passing the one-mile mark in near Heritage School. The two mile mark will be in front of the middle school, and the runners will then finish in front of the Heritage School. The loop is relatively flat, except for two trips down a long, gradual hill along the service drive.

Notes:
-The runners will be split into teams, each team being led by a "captain." The winning team is treated to DQ or pizza!
-Athletes will need to arrive at HERITAGE SCHOOL by 6:00PM.
-The teams of runners will warm-up to the MIDDLE SCHOOL parking lot, where the race will begin at 7:00.
-Parents are welcome to drive along the course, but the HERITAGE SCHOOL parking lot is a great place to see the runners too. A great option for spectators would be to ride a bike.
-The girls' team will be running their time trial right after the boys. After both teams have finished up, we'll have the awards presentation.
