Saline Cross Country - Give to Saline Cross Country

Each fall, Saline Cross Country welcomes more than sixty runners and offers them an outstanding athletic experience as part of one of Michigan's premiere cross country teams. While the team's win/loss record brings the program state-wide attention, the coaches are far more proud of the goal-oriented, hard-working, ambitious, and honorable young men that make up the team.

Many fans, friends, and alumni of Saline Cross Country know the quality of our program and want to help continue and improve it long after they have moved on. These individuals offer their generous financial support, which has allowed us to continue to train, recognize, and support our runners in ways other teams can only imagine.

Specifically, the generous gifts we receive make it possible for us to...
- Recognize runners of all ability in meaningful ways, including "Outstanding Performer" and mileage club T-shirts, ice cream and pizza treats, bowling outings, and countless other "Runner of the Day" prizes.
- Give slush to 60+ athletes several times a week throughout the summer and fall, which is a powerful recruiting tool!
- Attract community-wide attention to our program through lanyards, bumper stickers, "Fan Shirts," an updated website, and "Fan Texts."
- Provide unparalleled nutritional information, strength training, and injury prevention/treatment.
- Outfit our runners in the high-quality uniforms.
- Use computers, software, video cameras, and other technology to help our runners to prepare for and debrief from races in ways other teams cannot.

We graciously thank all of our fans, friends, and alumni because they make these things possible, and their generous donations will support us in our quest to change the City of Saline into "Cross Country Town, USA."

If you are interested in supporting the program financially, you can do so in several ways.

1. The easiest method is to send a check, payable to "Saline Area Schools" to the address listed below. Every penny of your donation will go to the program and may be tax deductible.
